Are you looking to dive deep into the world of semiconductor technology? The Department of Physics at Tamkang University invites talented students from Southeast Asia to join our intensive 4 to 6 month Short-term Research Internship. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of semiconductor research—from material synthesis to advanced electrical characterization.
Program Highlights:
1.Material Synthesis & Fabrication:
You will work alongside local Taiwanese mentors to fabricate nanofiber materials. Using high-temperature annealing processes, you will transform these into metal oxide nanofibers, gaining mastery over precision lab equipment and essential fabrication techniques.
2.Device Integration & Characterization:
Step into the cleanroom to build your own functional devices. You will use professional semiconductor characterization systems to measure electrical properties and explore real-world applications in optoelectronics.
3Advanced Material Analysis:
Gain proficiency in high-end analytical tools, including Raman Spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and Electron Microscopy (SEM/TEM) to decode the structural properties of your materials.
This internship is more than just a course; it’s a gateway to our Master’s program. You will be immersed in a collaborative environment, using industry-standard consumables and specialized equipment, ensuring you are ready for a career in the global semiconductor industry.
